Ingredients:
- 1 block (8 oz) Halloumi cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp harissa paste
- 1 tbsp honey
- ½ cup smoked almonds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh mint, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the halloumi cubes dry. Mix the harissa and honey in a small bowl.
- Pulse the smoked almonds in a food processor into a coarse “dust.”
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the halloumi for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and immediately toss in the harissa-honey mixture.
- Roll the sticky bites in the smoked almond dust to coat.
- Skewer with a toothpick, garnish with mint, and serve warm.
