Ingredients:
- 4 thick slices of sturdy bread, crusts removed, cut into sticks
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk or heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
For the Glaze:
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Instructions:
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, Parmesan, thyme, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Soak the bread sticks in the mixture for 30 seconds per side.
